With a global and gentle approach to well-being, with stays designed as decompression breaks combining sport, treatments and time for oneself, Villa Calvi is aimed at everyone, whatever their age or level of fitness. The only objective here is to reconcile with your body, at your own biological rhythm. Take advantage of the beginning and the end of the season, why not the winter, to do yourself good without hurting yourself.
5 days to "wake up"
Five years ago, Marion had the idea to host her first retreats given by Hélène Duval, founder of YUJ. Aware that not everyone is a fan of this practice, she worked on setting up a less targeted protocol for more accessible and less routine retreats: Alternating the introduction to aqua bike to stimulate venous return, to relieve circulatory problems while boosting the cardio without feeling exhausted, the introduction to Pilates to promote flexibility and deep muscle strengthening, guarantees of a tone without trauma, a hike in the mountains according to the level of each and supervised by a high mountain guide to work on endurance, breathing, learn to simply walk with full awareness and observe what surrounds us.
Each stay ends as it began, with a focus on food. If it is a small conference on nutrition that inaugurates the five days that follow, it is with a cooking workshop for a balanced brunch taken together with the chef that the experience ends.
From Wednesday to Sunday, each retreat aims to strike the right balance between sports in the mornings and free afternoons, simply punctuated by targeted "à la carte" treatments according to each person's needs: reflexology, kobido (manual and traditional Japanese lifting), firming protocols (based on a high concentration of immortal active ingredients with healing, decongesting and anti-inflammatory virtues).
Villa Calvi's wellness retreats are not aimed at yoga and/or Pilates enthusiasts, they aim to reconcile with the body, to reconnect with physical sensations and to regain a minimum of tone and energy according to the daily needs and context of each person.
The aim is to reset the body for 5 days, including relaxation, treatments, walking and targeted practices. No military schedules, no deprivation or draconian diet either, but "à la carte" rituals and a real pleasure gastronomy, light, vegetal and seasonal.
