Weekend Escape at a Luxury Scottish Castle
Immerse yourself in the Highlands of Scotland and explore breath-taking landmarks such as Glencoe and Loch Ness. In a castle fit for a Queen...quite literally! In 1873 this beautiful Scottish castle had a Royal guest. None other than Queen Victoria herself stayed in this exquisite loch-side residence. She spent weeks here painting and writing. She wrote in her diary 'I never saw a lovelier or more romantic spot'. Nestling in the foothills of the mighty Ben Nevis, this castle hotel sits amongst some of Scotland's finest scenery. All of the 17 bedrooms and suites has their own unique design and charm along with outstanding views of the gardens and private loch. Indulge in some of the best Scottish delicacies that the country has to offer in the fine dining restaurant onsite. Overseen by two Michelin star chef Michel Roux Jr and presented by our wonderful head chef Coalin Finn, to dine here is to be transported back to the true essence of Inverlochy Castle, to experience it how guests would have when the castle was a private home. Dinner will commence at 7pm, where a glass of Champagne or a custom designed cocktail will be waiting on arrival. The evening begins in the Great Hall, where our chefs will prepare and present a carefully chosen variety of canapes, before you make your way to the warm and comfortable dining rooms to enjoy five dishes artfully devised by chef Coalin. The small, local producers that neighbour us will feature prominently across the menu; some of which are not available anywhere else! If you are wanting the full Scottish country experience we can arrange a variety of traditional activities such as golfing, fishing, clay pigeon shooting and off road driving.
