Courchevel is no stranger to starry resorts, but among the glitziest is the Oetker Collection outpost there.
L’Apogée, a classic chalet that’s so idyllic, it could be made of gingerbread, has official French Palace status – as well as its own aerodrome, ski-in, ski-out proximity to the piste (all 600 kilometres of Les Trois Vallées) and a La Prairie spa. There’s also a sushi restaurant, a cigar lounge, a ski room and self-contained chalets for groups.
Prestige Room
Magical views over the sweep of the valley, ski slopes or snowy woodland scenery can be enjoyed from the Prestige Room’s cosy interiors, and in some cases, from a private balcony. Ranging from 376 to a generous 430 square feet in size, they are the most spacious in Courchevel in this category. Some interconnect with Suites for the convenience of families and some have a sofa bed that’s ideal for younger guests.

Junior Suite
Entirely imagined by French interior designer India Mahdavi, our spacious Junior Suites are luxurious 484 square feet cocoons with a sitting area and views over Courchevel’s valley and its slopes, or of the snow laden woodland. Created in soft, sensual materials, they are irresistible invitations to relaxation after a day on the slopes – and ideal for a long stay. Some Junior Suites have a balcony from which to enjoy the magnificent alpine scenery. Combining a hint of rustic charm with a warm contemporary style, the suites’ furnishings are all bespoke, and feature gorgeously tactile fur, wools and suede.
