Your Little One's Dream Come True - Their Own Private...

Established originally as Noah's Ark in 1760, the children's store had already become a beloved London institution by 1837, drawing families to what was affectionately known as the "joy emporium." The shop's immense popularity led to the opening of a new branch on Regent Street in 1881 to meet the soaring demand for its renowned blend of fun, magic, and theatrical experiences. Expanding to an additional five floors, it became the world's largest toy store, bustling with toy theatres, puppets, pedal cars, and miniature railway trains, creating a spectacular sight. Despite facing challenges during the late 1920s, including a temporary closure in 1931 and halting of its horse-drawn delivery vans, the store found renewed success under a new ownership. In the late 30's, it received the Royal Warrant from Queen Mary, a testament to its esteemed reputation.
