Maestro is also a hotly contested frontrunner with a total of 7 nominations, including Bradley Cooper up for Leading Actor.
The Highlights
The battle of 'Barbenheimer' is far from over, with both films up for ‘Best motion picture of the year’. When it came to homegrown talent, the nominations were also favourable to British leading ladies: Emily Blunt and Carey Mulligan are in the running for their respective roles in Oppenheimer and Maestro. Surprisingly, both All Of Us Strangers and Saltburn received no nominations, despite their strong performance at the Bafta nominations last week.
