DAY 2 ROME - ANCIENT ROME VIP TOUR (full day)
Visit to the Colosseum open to the public, Palazzo Colonna exclusively, Aperitif at Hotel Vilon during the break, Art gallery closed to the public (mosaics).
Your guide will illustrate its awe-inspiring structure, recreating the days when it was filled with the sounds of roaring animals and crowds, and the clashing of the gladiators swords. Witness the temples, monuments and civic buildings built by the largest empire in the western world as you climb to the Palatine.
Here, Palazzo Colonna which belongs to the Colonna family, is one of the oldest noble families in Rome who for over twenty-three generations enjoys the hustle of Roman life. After wandering through the different high-ceilinged rooms your guide who has special permission, will lead you to these dreamlike apartments of Princess Isabelle, an aristocratic socialite at the time.
DAY 3 ROME - VATICAN TOUR EXPERIENCE (full day)
This experience allows you to enjoy some of the most famous artistic treasures in the world, the highlights of the Vatican Museums and its galleries, including Michelangelo’s frescoed masterpiece of the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. Not only that, but after this immersive walk, you will have the opportunity to enter St. Peter’s Basilica, the largest Basilica in the world, renowned for the inspiring Bernini interior design and Michelangelo's stunning “ Pietà “.
DAY 4 FLORENCE - PRIVATE UFFIZI GALLERY & ACCADEMIA GALLERY (4 hrs)
In this private tour, your expert English-speaking guide will bring the endless corridors of the most popular museum of Florence to life with enchanting and educating anecdotes about your favourite Renaissance artists, including: Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Botticelli, Raphael and others.
The tour guide will then take you to the Accademia Gallery, the second most visited museum in Florence to discover Michelangelo’s David, the most famous Florentine symbol. The gallery is one of the places with the highest number of sculptures by Michelangelo, and you can admire the museum of musical instruments, the collection of paintings with a golden background and the Sala dei Prigioni with sculptures designed for Pope Julius II.
DAY 5 FLORENCE - PRIVATE CHIANTI TOUR & WINE TASTING
Chianti boasts some of Italy’s most gorgeous landscapes, sprinkled with vineyards, villages and medieval castles. Experience the best parts of the region while we treat you to its award-winning wines, fresh local products and traditional cuisine. You’ll be picked up from your accommodation by one of our English-speaking drivers, and from there you will enjoy a relaxing and fascinating day trip through the beautiful Tuscany countryside with its rolling hills, immense vineyards, picturesque medieval towns and breath-taking landscape views. Enjoy the wine tastings experience with local cheese and other specialities. After tasting 3 different award-winning wines, you will enjoy lunch in one of the best known restaurants of Chianti.
DAY 6 VENICE - PRIVATE TOUR MURANO & BURANO ISLANDS (4 hrs)
Starting from your accommodation, crossing the St. Mark’s basin, we will start to move north to Murano. This island was once a separate city from Venice, even minting its own coins. It is famed for its glass factories.
Enjoy a private visit to one of the larger factories in Murano, where you will see the glass blowers in action and with an opportunity to work with them side by side . Heading north we will arrive at Burano. With its own character, brightly coloured houses and lace making before making our way back to Venice.
DAY 7 VENICE - PRIVATE ST. MARK’S AND DOGE’S PALACE (3 hrs)
Explore two of Venice's most famous monuments - the St. Mark's Basilica+ Doge's Palace Tour. Numerous works of art, hidden galleries and majestic noble halls await you. You will get the opportunity to visit the Basilica with its precious shimmering gold-leaf mosaics, the altar screen with its gems, pearls and enamels. The visit continues in the Doge’s palace and the Doge’s apartments, where the chambers within it where the laws were once made.
DAY 8 - DEPARTURE FROM VENICE
