With over 9,400 metres of fairways, picturesquely bordered by groves and olive trees, this is the perfect setting too tee off. Thanks to the architects Preißmann and Moroder, who have enhanced the beauty of its landscape, the 27-hole resort is now divided into two spectacular courses to impress expert players but also guarantee an enjoyable experience for passionate beginners.

The recovery of rain water for irrigation and its eco-friendly maintenance techniques are just some of the actions that have granted this place the GEO Certified™ ecolabel: an international guarantee of high-quality sport.
Some golf courses, according to estimates by the European Golf Association, can use up to 1500 cubic meters of water per day. The Golf Club of Castelfalfi is committed to its sustainable environmental efforts, engaging in a grassland conversion operation that will increase the quality and sustainability of the course, as well as a significant water-saving initiative to reduce water consumption by 50%. Starting in June, the fairway of the second nine holes of the Mountain Course will be converted into Bermuda grass (a turf native to warm and dry climates, that needs a much lower amount of water and guarantees stronger resistance to disease and drought). Until the accomplishment of the conversion, scheduled by the end of August, 18 holes will remain open to play golf in this unique landscape.
The Mountain Course
Among the most difficult in Italy, this is a Championship Course with a high technical spec, thanks to its steep slopes. Ideal for more experienced players, its layout offers different game strategies and enchanting panoramic views over the resort's castle.
