The 2026 Winter Games will be uniquely hosted by two cities: Milan and Cortina, Italy. While these are the official host cities, the events will take place in various locations throughout northern Italy, offering visitors a wide array of travel destinations. Val di Fiemme Cluster
Surrounded by the Dolomites, Val di Fiemme has no shortage of spectacular mountain vistas. It is here, amid the stunning mountain peaks and eco-certified forests, that the Nordic skiing and ski jumping competitions will take place. Those in attendance can marvel at the incredible natural scenery alongside the impressive athletic feats.

Perhaps best known as the setting of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, this charming city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover the Roman influence in its marvelous architecture, including the famed Arena di Verona, built in 30 AD. The 2026 Winter Games will conclude in this historic amphitheater, which was selected to host the closing ceremony.
