Between the 30th June and 7th July, galleries across London are opening their doors and hosting some of the world's most renowned artists.

This highly anticipated event will draw in thousands of art enthusiasts from all around the globe over the week.

London Art Week focuses on the celebration of 'an array of exceptional art from across the past seven millennia' and will do so by allowing both novices and experts to enjoy 'world class art up close' in over 40 galleries and three leading auction houses; and with everything from impressionist paintings to cocktail master classes and from ancient sculptures to exclusive private tours and dinners - there really is something for everybody.

For an exclusive morning, head to the members-only The Groucho Club on 3rd July to take a look at the unrivaled contemporary art collection with Nicky Carter, 'former art director and longtime member of the original arts & media private members club' and will go on an tour of the intimate club nestled in the centre of the bohemian heart of London and will end with an exclusive limited-edition cocktail at the SoHo bar, created by The Groucho Club to celebrate London Art Week.

On 3rd July, guests can enjoy an exclusive private tour of the Bonhams Old Master Painting sales and then go on to the Michelin-starred Bonham restaurant on New Bond Street to enjoy a four-course meal with wine. After being greeted with a glass of champagne, you will receive a guided tour with access to exclusive pieces.

Or, if cocktails are more your thing, head to Saville Row on the 4th July for an evening with Simone Caporale, a world-renowned expert mixologist. Simone will be 'exploring the art of cocktail creation' alongside London-based perfumers Miller Harris and Tanqueray 10 to create a menu of delicious drinks that 'combine both fragrance and flavour'. Guests of the event will also be able to sample the new Cicchetti menu from the kitchen 'artist' Francesco Mazzei.

Robilant + Voena on Dover Street is hosting an evening with the world's most exclusive spirits company, The Last Drop Distillers on 5th July. The London Art Week and the Putney-based distillers will talk through how the exceptional rarities found in the world's art and whisky can make certain pieces more coveted and how this has impacted the culture of the luxury goods market.

We recommend going to visit Charles Beddington in Mayfair for a focus on 18th Century and Venetian view paintings; or if 19th Century paintings, drawings, and watercolours are more your style then take a trip to Saffronart on New Bond Street, home of James Mackinnon; or take a trip to Trinity Fine Art which was founded in 1984 and specialises in European sculpture as well as 15th to the 20th century works of art, paintings and drawings.
