Jason works out of a couple of salons in London (Cobella in Kensington and Kitch which is in Angel, north London) but manages his own diary. I felt rather privileged that he had found the time to cut and colour my hair - which was looking rather sad after two weeks in the sun. Not only had my previous colour been bleached out but my roots (which are now very grey around my hairline) were on display loud and proud.
As Jason put on my colour he chatted comfortably about the next chapter of his career, having returned from working in Tokyo. It was clear why he was so successful, he had a real passion for the hairdressing industry and was constantly evolving his part in it. I was inspired by his enthusiasm. After taking off my colour Jason gave my hair a trim, cutting it perfectly straight - just the way I like it and blow dried it with added volume. It was glossy and fabulous and I loved it. Having my hair done with Jason, was so different to walking in a top named salon and sitting down with their top stylist - he had a real air of professionalism and even though he didn’t showoff his wealth of experience and celebrity clients - he didn’t need to, because the results of my colour and cut said it all.
I am lucky enough to experience lots of different salons in and around London, but right now I have found someone I would like to stay with for many years to come.
