The Experience

A day in Atacama is like stepping into a dream. Imagine waking up to a sunrise illuminating the enchanting landscapes. After a delicious Chilean breakfast, explore mesmerising rock formations and bubbling geysers. The day continues with an Andean fox sighting—an unexpected desert friend.

The evening brings a soak in natural hot springs, where the warm waters relax you. And just when you thought it couldn't get any better, the night sky puts on a magnificent show. You find yourself at 7,900 feet feeling as though you can touch the stars.

Sample Itinerary

Day 1

MORNING FLIGHT FROM SANTIAGO TO CALAMA & TRANSFER TO HOTEL

AM | PM: Meet and greet your driver on arrival and transfer to your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama. Depending on the time you arrive at the hotel, you may have time for a late afternoon half day excursion or you may choose to relax, enjoy the property or take the hotel’s bicycles into town.

Day 2

FULL DAY IN SAN PANDRO ATACAMA

AM | PM: Today you have the option of taking two half day of one full day excursion in the Atacama Desert. You can also choose to rest and relax at your hotel, use the spa and luxuriate by the pool. Excursions will be recommended based on your acclimatization to high elevation, your physical ability, and your interests.

Day 3

FULL DAY IN SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA

AM | PM: Today you again have the option of taking two half day or one full day excursion in the Atacama Desert. Your guides will recommend excursions based on your acclimatization to high elevation, your physical ability and your interests.

Day 4

FULL DAY EXCURSION IN THE MIGHTY DESERT

AM | PM: For 3 night programs, you will check-out this morning and take a transfer from the hotel to Calama airport for your flight to Santiago. For 4 or 5 night programs, your adventure continues. You will have a choice today between two half day or one full day excursion in the mighty desert.

Day 5

FULL DAY EXCURSION IN THE LUNAR LIKE LANDSACAPES

AM | PM: For 4 night programs, you will check-out this morning and take a transfer from your hotel to Calama airport for your flight to Santiago. For 5 night programs, your adventure continues for one additional day. You will have a choice today between two half day or one full day excursion in the lunar-line landscape of the desert.

Day 6

FAIRWELL TO ATACAMA DESERT & TRANSFER TO AIRPORT

AM | PM: For 5 night programs, this marks the end of your adventure in the Atacama Desert. You will transfer this morning from your hotel to Calama Airport for your flight back to Santiago.
