About this Experience

The essence of these properties is built around an extraordinary team from the local community, many of whom have hand-crafted and constructed much of the surrounding environment. You'll be welcomed into the family, where your safari experience is guided by local knowledge, ensuring you leave with a deep connection to Zambia and a fresh perspective on nature.

Both properties feature luxurious, tented accommodations that embrace the spirit of relaxed safari living. There's a unique thrill in staying in a tent while immersed in the bush—comfortably surrounded by nature as you fall asleep beneath the stars and wake to the dawn's first light.

The Lodge offers a serene safari escape, nestled along a pristine lagoon. Spaciously designed, it blends natural textures and colours with striking, custom pieces. Each of the seven tents boasts large windows framing the natural surroundings, allowing you to feel completely connected to the wilderness. The Lodge is equipped with all the comforts, including air-conditioning, a gym, private plunge pools, and expansive private decks.

Its sister Camp, featuring only four elevated tents, combines beautiful white linen, teak, and brass to create a refined safari atmosphere. Each tent offers an outdoor slipper bath with breathtaking views of the Luangwa River, enhancing the camp's relaxed yet sophisticated ambiance.

The Lodge and Camp offer a balanced mix of discovery, adventure, and relaxation. Qualified, passionate guides ensure every activity is an insightful immersion into the bush. Enjoy game drives, bush meals, day trips, water excursions, walking safaris, and photographic hides, all concluding with a sunset toast.

For a more personalized experience, private vehicles are available, along with the option to pre-book the latest Canon mirrorless cameras for those once-in-a-lifetime safari moments.

The Luangwa Valley, known as the "Valley of the Leopard," offers sightings of iconic wildlife like Leopards, Lions, Buffalos, Elephants, and Zebras, along with Thornicroft Giraffes, endemic to the area. Occasionally, Wild Dogs can also be spotted. As the season progresses, expect to see the elusive Roan Antelope and Hartebeest. After nightfall, the bush comes alive with nocturnal animals such as Porcupine, Aardvark, Civet, Genet, and Honey Badger.

The commitment to conservation here is unwavering. In partnership with CSL, ZCP, and DNPW, the properties play a crucial role in projects that preserve this untouched wilderness for future generations, fostering a sustainable future for the people, wildlife, and environment in one of the world's last truly wild places.
