Ask anyone who lives in London, and they’ll surely tell you there is no shortage of exciting openings, launches and events taking place each month — the trouble is usually hearing about them. From a hot, new restaurant opening to a newly-launched wellness product to add to your wishlist, consider The Sybarite your luxury barometer when it comes to the noteworthy newcomers each and every month.

Sushi Celebrations

International Sushi Day is happening June 18, and PIRAÑA is celebrating in the best way possible. The Mayfair eatery is offering a special menu from June 17-22, including a super premium tasting platter for two. Showcasing the team's ingenuity and skill, guests can expect to dine on seared otoro sashimi truffle & caviar, wagyu foie gras nigiri and crab leg tempura with kimchi mayo. This is a must-do for sushi lovers, so be sure to get your booking in early.

Party People

House Party, the invite-only concept by Stormzy and Cream Group is celebrating its one-year anniversary with a month-long series of events. Taking place within the venue's expansive seven-floor Soho townhouse, celebrations will include live performances every Friday and Saturday at 10pm, a limited drop of new merch and even a lottery draw with parties up for grabs. It's set to be an epic month of festivities, so apply for an invitation and enjoy the action for yourself. On June 14, SirDavis will be taking over the karaoke room, paying tribute to Beyonce to mark the final leg of her London tour!

Skyline Sketching

Take your creativity to new heights with Battersea Power Station's Lift 109. On June 5 and 12, Londoners will be offered a rare chance to ride to the top and sketch the capital's iconic skyline, 109 metres above ground. Sessions are 45 minutes long and led by expert tutors from London Fine Art Studios, with all materials provided. This is the perfect activity for artists, culture lovers or anyone who appreciates the beauty of the city!

Picnic Season

With the weather warming up, DELLI, the platform showcasing the best independent food and drink brands, is hosting a series of park pop-ups. Titled, 'Ban Boring Picnics' the brand's mission is to encourage shoppers to discover a delicious range of snacks and treats outside the norm. The brand will be handing out free picnic samples, refreshing tipples and a DELLI tote bag filled with small-batch snacks, condiments, and drinks.  These are taking place on June 22 at Brockwell Park and June 28 at Victoria Park. Canned Collab

British electronic duo Maribou State have teamed up with celebrated London brewery Pressure Drop for a debut beer collaboration. The result is a pale ale with vibrant tropical aromas and citrusy notes of orange peel and grapefruit. This is also Pressure Drop's first artist collaboration, )which makes it extra special) so be sure to give it a try.

Sub Culture

Two cult favourites have joined forces to create two limited-edition sandwiches that are as bold as they are indulgent. From now until June 22, enjoy the deliciously masterful creations brought to you by Dishoom and Dom’s Subs. The Oh My Gosht! is a rich, spiced lamb keema sub while the Dishroomy Pepper Fry boasts a vegan stack of lindi-pepper-spiced mushrooms. Both sandwiches are layered with burnt chilli mayo, pickles, chutneys, meaning they're packed with flavour. These are available for delivery daily from 12–5pm (while subs last), or in person at Dishoom Shoreditch on weekdays from 11:45am–5pm until June 20. Birthday Belter

LPM, the chic, French Riviera-inspired eatery Mayfair, is celebrating its 18th birthday in style. Come June 5, the venue will burst with birthday cheer, featuring music from the French Riviera’s favourite party band, The Troubadours. All guests dining there on the night will also receive a complimentary slice of Fraisier cake (a French classic) to mark the occasion. Raise a glass!

Rosé All Day

Toast to the start of summer at at Sky Garden’s Provence Wine Dinner on June 18. Held in an exclusive private dining room inside Fenchurch Restaurant, this intimate, 14 seater dinner will celebrate the best of Provence through a specially curated tasting menu. Guests will sip on exquisite rosés from some of the region’s most prestigious estates including Château d’Esclans and Château Minuty. Tickets are priced at £175pp which includes a glass of Whispering Angel on arrival, light canapés, followed by a five-course tasting menu expertly paired with Provence rosé wines.

Chef's Table

Decimo at The Standard has launched a new chef dinner series which they're calling, La Mesa (translated to The Table). Celebrating one-night-only feasts with acclaimed chefs from the UK and around the world, each edition will bring a completely new, culinary spin. Guest chefs will work with Head Chef Paola Meléndez on an open-fire menu which blends different cultures and cooking styles. The launch dinner is taking place June 17 and features Susan Kim, founder of NYC’s Korean-American pop-up Doshi, and Songsoo Kim, Head of Sourcing and Development at London’s Super 8 group. They are presenting a collaborative menu between Korean and Mexican cuisine. Menu highlights include scallop and melon aguachile with jalapeño and red mullet a la talla with a range of sides including kimchi, salsa verde, pickles, masa tortillas and perilla leaves.

Aesthetics Unlocked

French Flair

Come June 16, Notting Hill will house a new French eatery in Chez Lui. As the first restaurant from  La Bistrot Collection, a new concept by the team behind Bagatelle Restaurant Group, it's guaranteed to be a new hot spot. Offering a relaxed, neighbourhood bistro vibe, the venue will serve a menu featuring all the French classics, including beef tartare with chimichurri, a 72-hour roast chicken and a deliciously classic Tarte Tatin.

Weekend Of Wine

From June 6-8, Battersea Power Station is hosting a weekend-long celebration of British and international wines. Known as 'The Wine Circuit,' the showcase will feature tastings, talks, food pairings, artisan markets and more. Better still, many of the Power Station's restaurants and bars are joining in the festivities, offering a few wine-themed menus of their own. With that in mind, it's the perfect day and night out.

Soulful Food

Following the success from Wednesday’s Domaine’s first Supper Club easier this year, the non-alcoholic wine brand is re-partnering with community kitchen Refettorio Felix for their second Surplus Supper Club. Taking place on June 25, this iteration will feature an Italian-inspired, three-course menu crafted from surplus food donated by The Felix Project, with unlimited Wednesday’s Domaine alcohol-free wines. This is a unique opportunity to support the important work of Refettorio Felix, with all proceeds from the evening being donated to the charity.

Camden Charm

For one night only, Michelin starred chef Lee Wescott will head up the kitchen at Camden's favourite old-fashioned booze, The Dark Horse. Showcasing the best of British produce, his farm-to-table ethos shines through in his cooking techniques, with highlight dishes including torched line caught mackerel and frilled Herdwick lamb breast. Come June 12, the evening will see him serving up a 4-course meal for £55pp. The evening's music will be taken care of by Tape London, with a DJ spinning tunes all night long.

Fiery Flavours

On June 19, JOIA will host its inaugural Chef’s Flaming Feast — a one night celebration of fiery flavours on its iconic rooftop in Battersea. Bringing together four of London's most renowned open-fire chefs, the event is a celebration of delicious, smoky flavours, with all dishes prepared on the Big Green Egg BBQ. JOIA’s Concept Chef, Henrique Sá Pessoa will be taking part, with other industry heavyweights including Jack Godik of Sucre and Luca Mastrantoni of Ekstedt at The Yard. Tickets are £50 which includes one dish from each chef (4 dishes in total).

Summer Scents

From June 16 to October 1, five-star Marylebone landmark The Landmark will team up with luxury fragrance house ARgENTUM to unveil a sensorial ‘Scent of Summer' Afternoon Tea. An elegant fusion of flavour, fragrance and personality, the experience is hosted within the hotel’s iconic eight-storey Winter Garden atrium. Featuring patisseries inspired by the four elements, a tea menu matched to ARgENTUM’s archetype fragrances, and a glass of Nyetimber or botanical ‘Lover’ cocktail, it's the perfect way to spend an afternoon. For an extra dose of magic, guests can also enjoy complimentary tarot and fragrance readings on select dates.

Riverside Revelry

Fulham Pier is putting on a luxury-meets-local weekend of free entertainment from June 20-22. Guests can expect live music, comedy, creative workshops and standout street food, kicking things off with Laughs on the River, featuring BAFTA-winner Tom Davis. On the 21st, Example will play a one-off open-air gig which promises to be a must-see for any music fans. Come the 22nd, attendees can get hands-on with design-led workshops inspired by Yinka Ilori’s new public artwork, including reed diffuser making and screen printing. With food from outposts like Breddos Tacos, Goila Butter Chicken and a brasserie by Michelin-starred chef Adam Byatt, it's shaping up to be a very fun (and free) weekend of culture and flavour.

We Go Together

To mark English Wine Week, plant-based restaurant mallow is hosting an elegant wine pairing dinner on June 25. This one-night-only celebration will showcase both seasonal flavours and exceptional English wines. For £60pp, guests will enjoy four courses from mallow’s new summer menu, paired with pours from boutique producers Artelium Vineyards and Roebuck Estates. Highlights include the wild mushroom ravioli with sage butter and regeneratively farmed sourdough served with a vibrant escalivada.

Shell Chic

Chiswick favourite The Hound has just launched Oyster Tuesdays which is set to be the ultimate midweek indulgence. From 5pm every Tuesday, enjoy freshly shucked Carlingford Rock Oysters for just £1.50 each, or opt for the full experience with a dozen oysters and two glasses of Westwell English Sparkling Wine for £39. Paired with the warmer weather, this is best enjoyed on the sunny south-facing terrace for a truly elevated experience.

Late Date

Notting Hill’s much-loved KURO outposts are bringing back KURO Late, a stylish wine bar pop-up taking over KURO Coffee every Thursday evening from 5–10pm throughout June. The design-led hangout will serve premium wines, prosecco and elevated nibbles, with its relaxed outdoor space offering perfect for golden-hour sipping.

Chelsea’s boutique gym KXU is turning up the heat with the launch of Hot Pilates on June 16. This is an infrared-powered class which blends Pilates precision, barre burn, yoga flow, and strength training into one sculpting, sweat-drenched session. Set in KXU’s state-of-the-art heated Studio 2, the 50-minute workout hits 30°C to boost circulation, flexibility and detoxification, while building deep core strength without stressing the joints. Season Served

On June 26, Michelin-starred Wilson’s of Bristol brings its acclaimed farm-to-table ethos to Papi in Hackney for a one-night-only collaboration with a sustainable edge. On the menu are a range of a la carte dishes which spotlight the best of English summer produce, from poached oysters with elderflower to roebuck and mangalitza kofta with elderberry sauce. Expect playful and produce-driven plates centred on a low-waste philosophy, with a few nostalgic nods to childhood dishes, too (think jelly and ice cream for dessert). Drinks come courtesy of Charlie Carr, with natural wines and cider from standout UK producers like Ripe Cider and Sophie Evans Wines. This will be a refined and seasonal celebration from two pioneering neighbourhood kitchens, making it a must-attend.
