From exciting new openings to product launches you’ll want to ‘add to basket’ these are the thirteen things on The Sybarite’s radar in April.

Ask anyone who lives in the UK, and they’ll surely tell you there is no shortage of exciting openings, launches and events taking place each month — the trouble is usually hearing about them. From a hot, new restaurant opening to a newly-launched wellness product to add to your wishlist, consider The Sybarite your luxury barometer when it comes to the noteworthy newcomers each and every month.

Below, find our curated list of launches and openings to add to your calendar this April.

Summer Spritz

The taste of summer has officially arrived, courtesy of easy-drinking gin brand, Papa Salt. Partnering with Fever Tree Tonic, the brands have co-released a a ready-to-drink Blood Orange Gin Spritz. Margot Robbie, who co-founded the gin label alongside husband Tom Ackerley and three friends, is thrilled about the partnership, telling shoppers "we hope you have one in hand all summer long!" That's a wish we can definitely get on board with.

Highball

From April 15, award-winning cocktail bar Oriole will launch House of Highball. The special will see guests enjoying six of the venue's signature highballs for £10 between 3-6pm. Standouts include the Calypso made with Tanqueray No.10, Monkey Shoulder Fresh Monkey, fino sherry, banana juice, and elderflower tonic and the Chincha Alta made with Ketel One vodka, Moët champagne, apple marigold cordial and absinthe. The House Of Highball can be enjoyed at the ground floor aperitivo bar from Tuesday-Saturday.

Delicious New Addition

Come April 8, Liberty will welcome a new dining destination, marking its 150th anniversary year. Seventy Five at Liberty will be located on the second floor of the iconic Regent Street store, serving modern British fare and showcasing seasonal, locally-sourced produce. An all-day brunch menu and afternoon tea offering will also be available. In honour of the department store's enduring affinity with art, the venue will host an ongoing Artist in Residence series. The first will be renowned cartoonist, illustrator and writer, Sir Quentin Saxby Blake, whose works displayed on the walls will be available for purchase.

Master Mixology

On April 12, vibe-heavy cocktail bar Chiave Shoreditch will host an intimate cocktail-making workshop. Head Bartenders Bilal and Laura (recently nominated for the World Class Top 100 bartenders) will treat guests to an immersive session which will see them choosing their own ingredients, glassware and garnishes to create something unique. Finishing with a friendly competition (and the chance to savour your masterpiece) it promises to be a memorable afternoon for any cocktail lover.

Art Escape

Boutique Hotel Sea Containers London has collaborated with Southbank Centre's Hayward Gallery to offer visitors the ultimate blend of culture and creativity. The 'culture vulture' package includes an overnight stay in the hotel, riverside breakfast buffet and 3-course set lunch or dinner menu at Sea Containers' Restaurant. The generous bundle also includes tickets to a Hayward Gallery exhibition, available from March 3 - May 5. Currently on show is Mickalene Thomas: All About Love, an exploration of beauty, identity and power, and Linder: Danger Came Smiling, a bold, punk-fuelled feminist showcase.

Sun-Inspired Sweetness

Arguably a match made in heaven, French Riviera-inspired restaurant group La Petite Maison (LPM) and iconic Italian fragrance house Acqua di Parma have teamed up once again. Celebrating the essence of the Mediterranean with a special Easter collaboration, the partnership has seen the creation of a bespoke cocktail and dessert, inspired by the fragrance brand's latest scent. Buongiorno draws inspiration from the arrival of Spring in the Tuscan hills and captures the essence of new beginnings, contains earthy, citrus fragrance notes. In homage, the culinary creations highlight aromatics of basil, lemon chantilly, manarin and a touch of ginger. The dessert and cocktail offering are available at all LMP locations globally from April 20. Bellissimo!

Goodbye Monday Blues

The feeling of dread typically associated with Mondays has completely disappeared, thanks to Quaglino's latest offering. Every Monday evening from April 7, the venue will pair premium Johnnie Walker whisky with soothing and soulful live jazz for a refined experience. Showcasing the Blue and Black Label bottles, guests are invited to sample the range however they please, be it on the rocks or blended in a decadent Old Fashioned. With live performances from resident instrumentalist Tom Diesel and powerhouse vocalist, Lloren, it promises to be the perfect way to start your week off on a high note.

Treat With A Twist

In celebration of Easter, Pastaio has dreamt up two very special, twisted desserts. Putting its signature Italian spin on two classics, the result is a must-try. The Colomba Bread and Butter Pudding (£15) is perfect for sharing, while the Pastiera Napoletana (£7.50) is a delicious bite-sized treat which sees the opular Neapolitan tart, filled with wheat, ricotta and orange flower.

Soho Sounds

On April 18, Soho will officially house an intimate new drinking den, Under the Counter. With a focus on exceptional cocktails and a revolving roster of musical talent, it's guaranteed to be the new go-to spot in London's centre. Led by Executive Chef Kemal Demirasal, he says "bold Turkish flavours, inventive cocktails, and an immersive sound experience" will be spotlighted. Guests can expect to dine on pistachio and feta cigars with miso aioli and fries with homemade caviar mayo, each paired to complement the spice-led cocktail menu. All About Asparagus

Given that springtime in Germany is all about the white asparagus, German Gymnasium has planned its menu accordingly. Chef Alex has curated an exceptional, seasonal menu which showcases the variety of the vegetable and all the many ways you can enjoy Weisser Spargel. Perfect for any German expats missing a taste of home, or curious Londoners eager to see what makes it so special. Available from April 21.

Game On

Planning to watch the Grand National? Flat Iron Square is the best place to do it. Come April 5, the space will burst to life with passionate fans and they gather to watch the big game. To fuel the action, the venue boasts an impressive selection of alcohol and street-food vendors crafted by Michelin-star chefs. And, with 16 state-of-the-art viewing screens and a huge 16-foot screen, the atmosphere promises to be electric.

Post-Marathon Munchies

On April 27, following the London Marathon, The Table in Southwark is offering a free burger to all finishers who bring their medal. The perfect way to refuel after the big race, participants can choose from a range of menu favourites including the ranch burger (filled with beef, bacon, caramelised onion) or the chicken burger (with fried chicken, smashed avocado and hot sauce). This offer is available until 6pm.

Artistic Eggs

From now until April 27, be sure to check out the artworks from the Big Egg Hunt 2025. In partnership with the Elephant Family, the installation sees 20 giant eggs dotted along the streets from Knightsbridge to Sloane Square. Created by artists, luxury brands and institutions including Anya Hindmarch, Chelsea Arts Club and Saatchi Gallery, the trail forms part of a wider London takeover of more than 100 eggs. Each of them are up for auction to raise funds for Elephant Family’s conservation work in South Asia.
