The lowdown
Tors Park is a holiday maker's paradise. The complex is made up of 34 self-serviced apartments of various sizes, accommodating between 2-6 guests. Families, friend groups or anyone seeking a moment of respite from city life will be very happy here.
Check-ins are managed online, making the arrival process a breeze. We were emailed detailed instructions including where to park and how to access the room. If you need anything throughout your stay, you can live chat or text a member of the Tors Park team. They’re lovely and very responsive!
The features and amenities
We stayed in the Ocean View apartment which was blessed with plenty of natural light. Aesthetically, the apartment felt very coastal which made it easy to get into the holiday spirit. The entire space has been designed with the view in mind, meaning it’s easy to make the most of it.
As a very thoughtful touch, a gorgeous vase of flowers and very generous food hamper had been left on the dining table. The hamper contained all the epicurean delights for a grazing board, from boxes of crackers and sliced deli meats to gourmet chutneys and cheeses. Its contents were easily spread across two days and were best enjoyed with a glass of wine on the balcony.
Speaking of, our apartment's outdoor area was arguably its best feature. This was accessed via enormous bi-fold doors which opened the living room right up and let the sea breeze to drift in. We spent hours on the balcony playing cards and soaking in the sweeping view of the town below.
The front bedroom featured skylight windows which again, flooded the room with light. It also boasted the same view as the balcony, looking down over Lynton. Both bedrooms came with ensuites which were perfect for us two couples. There was also an additional toilet downstairs.
We may have only been here for a few nights, but the the apartments are designed for longer stays, so they feel like complete houses. We had a fully equipped kitchen which we used to cook an English breakfast the next morning (the ingredients of which were also kindly included in our fridge).
