Making Waves: Highlights From The Monaco Yacht Show 2025
The Sybarite shares highlights from the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show, from bold debuts to world premieres.
The Monaco Yacht Show 2025 was as dazzling as ever. Below, discover a snippet of some of the biggest talking points, with updates from the likes of Heesen Yachts and Feadship.
Heesen Yachts rounded off this year's Monaco Yacht Show by announcing the sale of 55-metre superyacht, Agnetha. In a statement, the Dutch shipyard's chief commercial officer, Ruud van der Stroom, said: "The completion of this sale marks the end of a successful Monaco Yacht Show in Heesen’s new era. It demonstrates our belief that our brand is best presented in person on the water. It has been a pleasure to work with Ian Harris of Phoenix Yacht Management and his team. We are proud to be able to deliver a superyacht that is truly turnkey.”
Decked out with warm tones and plush fabrics, the vessel, which is the latest member of Heesen’s 55-metre steel series, can accommodate up to 12 guests across six spectacular staterooms, including a generous master on the main deck. Aesthetics aside, Agnetha is a feat of engineering, equipped with an ultra-efficient Fast Diplacement hull and two IMO Tier III engines which enable the yacht to achieve a top speed of 15.5 knots.

Dazzling Debut
Dutch shipyard Feadship chose Monaco to unveil its latest entry into the explorer yacht genre, a 79.50-metre steel-hulled, high-volume build by the name of Valor. Engineered for cold climates, the striking vessel features a two-metre ice belt above and below the waterline, achieving a Bureau Veritas Young Ice 2 notation. Beyond this, heat exchangers have been installed to recycle and capture latent energy, allowing Valor to tackle challenging Arctic conditions.
In keeping with Feadship’s commitment to energy-conscious innovation, Valor is powered by a hybrid diesel-electric, solar and battery-powered propulsion system, and can operate in zero-emission mode for up to 48 hours. Additional features include a contra-flow infinity pool, accommodation for 14 guests in six suites, a sky lounge, two jacuzzis, a gym and a fully equipped beach club with fold-down terraces.

Cutting-edge Collaboration
The Italian Sea Group held the world premiere of the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 101FT, marking the next chapter in its collaboration with Automobili Lamborghini. Oozing opulence, the new yacht features sculptural lines reminiscent of Lamborghini’s iconic sports cars, as well as one-of-a-kind customisable interiors echoing the lifestyle and personality of its owner. The boat has a top speed of 45 knots, pushing the limits of high-performance yachting.
In a statement, The Italian Sea Group’s CCO Gianmaria Costantino, said: “The Tecnomar for Lamborghini 101FT is not just a new model, it is a vision brought to life. We have listened to the evolving desires of today's yacht owners and translated them into an uncompromising experience. This yacht embodies more than exclusivity. It is a statement of self-expression through a creation that unites power, design and identity.”

Italian Innovation
Italian shipyard Rossinavi proudly presented M/Y BEL1 at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show. Combining beauty and efficiency in equal measure, the fully customised aluminium 50-metre superyacht sparkled in all its glory.
A collaboration between the Italian shipyard and Fulvio De Simoni Yacht Design, the ultra-sleek vessel features a lower deck comprising four cabins, an enclosed beach club, a gym, a large sundeck and a mini pool. The yacht’s interiors can be attributed to Team For Design and Enrico Gobbi, in collaboration with designer Carlo Lionetti.
Minimalistic yet luxe design features include a dramatic staircase crafted from honeycomb aluminium, flourishes of brushed American walnut, Nappa leather, marble details and Murano glasswork. For an injection of colour, splashes of ochre, marine blue and taupe feature throughout.
