What is amfAR?
amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research, stands at the forefront as a premier nonprofit committed to advancing AIDS research, HIV prevention, treatment education, and advocacy. Since its inception in 1985, amfAR has mobilized nearly $900 million to fund vital programs and has allocated over 3,800 grants to research teams globally.
Event Overview
amfAR is celebrated for its global benefit galas, pivotal in raising essential funds for research and increasing crucial awareness in the battle against HIV/AIDS.
In 2022, Ellie Goulding took to the stage to perform for the room of nearly 500 guests. Additional special guests included Maris Tomei, Patricia Clarkson, Rachel Brosnahan, Jodi Turner-Smith, and the Elevator Boys as hosts of amfAR's Instagram livestream. This year, Kelly Rowland is expect to perform.
Attendees can expect a red carpet and cocktail reception, followed by a dinner, live auction, fashion show and performance, ending with an afterparty.
