“Don’t let anyone tell you your dreams aren’t possible. It’s about knowing your vision, trusting your instincts, being resilient, and staying focused even when things get challenging.” These pearls of wisdom belong to Jade Holland Cooper, the successful founder behind luxury British fashion brand, Holland Cooper.

While there’s still an appetite for constantly evolving trends, Holland Cooper is championing slow fashion and timeless clothing. The cornerstone of her brand is British-made tailoring that effortlessly fuses heritage style with a generous side of modern elegance. “It’s generational and empowering. Our tailoring is designed to be lived in – versatile, durable and timeless, so each piece works hard for your wardrobe,” Holland Cooper says of her label’s identity. “The aesthetic focuses on slow fashion and investment pieces that you can rely on season after season, combining practicality with elegance to help women feel confident and comfortable in every aspect of their lives.”

She adds, “Being a woman designing for women means I focus on creating pieces that work in real life, for real women.” Founded in 2008, Holland Cooper has built up a loyal following across the globe, with notable fans including Claudia Winkleman and Amanda Holden. While the brand offers more than 2,000 pieces, spanning equestrian staples, menswear, children’s wear, outerwear and accessories, Holland Cooper first emerged on the scene with just 30 tweed mini skirts.

“I quickly realised there was a real appetite for luxurious, wearable pieces with heritage appeal,” Holland Cooper recalls. “It felt like the right moment to create a brand offering outerwear and wardrobe staples that women and men could actually live in.”

Holland Cooper’s vision for her eponymous label is crystal clear. Her muses are familiar faces, the people in her inner circle who flit between bustling cities and rolling hills: “I am designing for myself and the women I surround myself with. They are my muses. “She lives fully in her clothes, wants her wardrobe to work as hard as she does, and seamlessly moves from city to countryside, work to weekend.” Each piece has a purpose. The designer wants her customers to feel confident, empowered and comfortable. In short, “the best version of who she already is.”

As a label rooted in British heritage, it’s perhaps no surprise that much of Holland Cooper’s design inspiration stems from the great outdoors. Having grown up in Suffolk, Holland Cooper now looks to the honeyed hues of the Cotswolds for sartorial cues.

“The Cotswolds is home, and it inspires me constantly,” Holland Cooper shares. “The mix of countryside and that sense of heritage runs through everything we do. There’s a strong identity here – stylish but grounded – which very much reflects the brand,” she continues. “Our presence at events like the Cheltenham Races embodies this countryside catwalk spirit, blending tradition with contemporary style.”

Since its launch, Holland Cooper has grown exponentially to reach a global audience. One of the brand’s most recent highlights, a real pinch-me moment for Holland Cooper, was the Icons Series campaign.

“The Icons Series celebrates women who inspire me – Dame Mary Berry, Clare Balding, Lisa Dwan, Jodie Kidd – and reflects what Holland Cooper stands for: British craftsmanship, timeless tailoring and empowerment,” she says. “The campaign also gives back – 10% of Belgravia Blazer sales in Westminster Tweed go to The King’s Trust, supporting young women across the UK, a cause we are incredibly passionate about at Holland Cooper.”

Fashion aside, Holland Cooper and her husband Julian Dunkerton co-own Cheltenham’s boutique hotel No.131, and Dunkertons Park, an artisan food and events destination. Add to this two children and the juggle can start to feel very real. On carving out time for herself, she tells us, “I treasure time outdoors with the children, walking, exploring or just being together. These moments of connection and downtime are how I truly recharge.”

Projections for 2026 are already looking rosy. Holland Cooper reveals a recent collaboration with content creator and author, Lydia Millen, as well as plans for a brand new headquarters.

“Looking ahead, global expansion remains a key focus as we take British luxury to an international audience, while staying true to our roots,” she explains. “Spring/summer 2026 is already shaping up to be one of our most exciting seasons yet.”
