Who likes truffles? We do! The best way to discover these culinary delights is by way of truffle hunting, but not just any kind of truffle hunting – an expert variety which, of course, takes place in France.

Crillon le Brave, an idyllic hotel located in Provence, is offering a long weekend of ‘trufficulture extraordinaire’. Together with its truffle expert, Eric Jaumard, the three-day experience will take guests on a culinary journey to the best truffle regions that France has to offer.  The program runs throughout November and will be offered in both English and French.

The first day will see truffle hunting and a rustic lunch with Eric. The second day commences with a truffle-cooking demonstration by the hotel’s chef to get guests familiar with unique truffle dishes, before heading onto wine-tasting sessions at one of Châteauneuf-du-Pape’s finest estates. On Sunday, guests can unwind and head over to the local farmers market in Isle-sur-la-Sorgue for more interesting finds.

‘The price for two people for three nights sharing a classic room is €1,299 or €1,533 in a deluxe room and includes:

Room, breakfast, and dinner each day for two, (drinks not included) and the events mentioned. You will need your own car to get you to and from the truffle and wine events; transportation is not provided and the visit to the market on Sunday is unaccompanied.’
