About This Experience
The Edinburgh International Festival presents a globally sourced programme that brings together international artists and performers from many countries, giving audiences a rich cross-arts experience and helping launch the careers of global talent. The Hub on the Royal Mile is the festival’s home and a place for cross-genre performances at the heart of the city. Defined by its commitment to premier new productions, including world premieres, and world-class ensembles across all major performing arts disciplines, it offers guests an opportunity for complete cultural immersion in a vibrant city environment. Ballet has been part of the festival since The Sleeping Beauty in 1947, alongside major musical and theatrical displays.
Since 1947, opera and drama have remained central to the programme, alongside classical music, drawing leading artists and international visitors to Edinburgh in Scotland each summer festival season as part of the wider Edinburgh festival calendar, which now includes about ten other festivals alongside the International Festival.
This year, the festival runs from 7 to 30 August 2026 for three weeks under the theme “All Rise,” continuing the shift from its original late August to early September weeks before 2015.
Every experience is meticulously curated to your exact specifications, from securing premium seating at iconic venues to arranging exclusive private receptions. Our dedicated team ensures sophisticated comfort and flawless transitions between events, allowing you to enjoy the festival with absolute discretion and ease.
This experience is ideal for those who wish to combine elite-level culture with the dynamic energy of one of the world's most famous festival cities.
