Part of the Inwood Group, Hotel Elysia is housed in a Haussmanian building and is a recent addition to the organization. We were thrilled to experience a two-night stay in their Deluxe Suite, perfect for our family of four. Although the hotel is smaller in size, we were surprised to find just how spacious our suite was.
In terms of the in-room experience, the comfortable size and the fact that there was a separating door from the main bedroom and lounge area, meant that our children could sleep soundly, whilst we got to enjoy movie night in the comfort of our queen sized bed. Another highlight of the suite is that it's nothing but inviting - chic interiors, soft tones and plush furnishings makes it such a delight to stay in. The Deluxe Suite gives guests the option of either a queen sized bed or twin beds, depending on their preferences. For those traveling with little ones, a cot can also be provided. As we were traveling with our two young children, the hotel set up a very comfortable sofa bed for them, and they got to enjoy their own version of a movie night.
One of the unique features of Elysia is their cozy spa area located on the ground floor. It’s a rather discreet feature as there are no obvious signs pointing to the spa area. This feature made the stay even more worthwhile for us. It meant that we could take turns heading down to the spa and making use of their gorgeous energizing bath, hammam, sauna and ice fountain area. Guests will also be pleased to know that the hotel offers gym facilities so anyone wanting to get their workout on during their stay, can certainly do that.
We highly recommend a stay at Elysia not just for the elegant rooms and cozy spa, but also for their incredibly delicious food. We didn’t expect to dine at the hotel given Paris has a plethora of dining options to choose from, however after a freezing day spent at Disneyland, we wanted nothing more than to stay within the confines of the hotel. This meant having dinner at Le Bayadère, Elysia’s main restaurant. Whether we were just ravenous after a full day out and about or that the food was just that good, the flavors in the dishes that we had were exceptional. We noticed several diners who weren’t guests of the hotel, also came to dine at Le Bayadère. We couldn’t fault them, the intimate and discreet atmosphere in addition to the exceptional dishes, has made the restaurant a sort of go-to for dinner dates.
