Speaking to this year’s ceremony, chair of the BRIT committee, Damian Christian said, “This year's BRIT nominees really highlight the incredible breadth and diversity within British music," per the official BRIT’s website.
"From breaking artists to returning greats, and with artists spanning so many genres, this year's shortlist really feels like it has it all.”

When are the 2024 Brit Awards?
As mentioned, the Brit Awards will be taking place on Saturday March 2 at the O2 Arena.
Interestingly, this is the first time the awards have taken place over a weekend, since they first began all the way back in 1977.
Who is hosting the 2024 Brit Awards?
This year, the awards will be hosted by Clara Amfo, Maya Jama and Roman Kemp, working as a trio. Together, they worked on last year's red carpet coverage for ITV2 but have now taken over main hosting duties from comedian Mo Gilligan, who hosted the 2022 and 2023 awards.
On the performance front, Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding, Dua Lipa, Jungle, Kylie Minogue, RAYE, Rema and Tate McRae are all set to take the stage. Lipa, Minogue and RAYE have all been nominated at this year's ceremony, with the latter breaking a record with a total of seven nominations.

Ahead of the awards, Chase & Status have already been announced as the winners for Producer Of The Year. This prestigious title has been previously been taken out by Calvin Harris, David Guetta and Steve Mac.
