Art Basel Paris is a premier contemporary art fair that serves as a core anchor of the global art market calendar. About This Experience, this edition follows Art Basel’s replacement of FIAC in 2022. Formerly known as Paris+ par Art Basel, the event brings together over one hundred and fifty leading international galleries from dozens of countries to exhibit exceptional works of modern and contemporary art, with a structured fair model across the Galeries, Emergence, and Premise sectors, alongside Galeries Émergentes references in the broader fair context. It will help visitors discover a program shaped by participation from 41 countries and territories, with 65 galleries maintaining spaces in France.
A concise overview of the fair’s content centres more clearly on artists, spanning museum-grade paintings, avant-garde sculpture, large-scale installations, and emerging digital photography. The Emergence sector supports young artists and will showcase 16 young galleries or solo presentations.
Hosted within the historic, glass-domed Grand Palais following its extensive restoration at 9 avenue du Général Eisenhower, Avenue Winston-Churchill, 75008 Paris, the fair also expands its public-facing offering through notable collaborations with cultural institutions, public exhibitions, and site-specific installations across iconic Parisian locations throughout the year. Karim Crippa will serve as the fair director for the 2026 edition.
