Although the hotel is located so centrally, we hardly heard any noise and enjoyed two peaceful nights in a serene atmosphere that had everything we needed for our brief stay.
A standout feature of staying at Holmes Hotel is its close proximity to all of London’s top shopping and sightseeing destinations. Bus stops are within walking distance, taking no less than ten minutes to arrive at places like Oxford Circus or Piccadilly Circus. Holmes Hotel is also an excellent spot to host friends for lunch or dinner at its all-day restaurant, Kitchen At Holmes. The inviting, atmosphere makes it the perfect place to enjoy quality time while savouring fresh, seasonal dishes such as hearty salads, braised lamb shoulder and roasted hake.
For those wishing to maintain their wellness regime while travelling, Holmes Hotel has a stylish gym on-site, kitted out with sports equipment by NOHrD. Those wanting to get some work done outside of their rooms can easily access the hotel’s comfortable drawing room or lounge, making it ideal for hot-desking or informal meetings. There’s also 106 Baker Street — a popular cafe with salads, pastries, and excellent coffee — perfect for a quick pick-me-up.
Pet lovers will be pleased to know that the hotel is also pet-friendly, allowing you to bring your furry friends (all shapes and sizes too) to stay with you where they’ll no doubt be also treated to five-star service.
We opted for Holmes Hotel due to us needing a convenient location to have informal meetings and to quickly run shopping errands around the city without wasting time on commuting. We also wanted a place that offered that luxury lifestyle edge, with rooms that boast a unique aesthetic and Holmes Hotel ticked all our boxes. Whether you’re traveling for business, as a family, on a solo trip to meet friends, or as a couple wanting to explore London, Holmes Hotel is the ideal choice.
