About This Experience
The Dutch Grand Prix is an official round of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship, held at Circuit Zandvoort along the North Sea coastline of the Netherlands. First staged in 1948, the race returned to the modern calendar following a lengthy hiatus, featuring substantial track updates designed by Jarno Zaffelli. The circuit is globally renowned for its old-school character, undulating sand dune topography, and two specific high-speed banked corners - Turn 3 (Hugenholtz) and the final Turn 14 (Arie Luyendyk) - which feature gradients up to eighteen degrees to facilitate wheel-to-wheel overtaking manoeuvres and aerodynamic load testing.
