This is an occasion where guests can revel in Waldorf Astoria’s lavish surroundings while comparing three of the world’s highest-performance automobiles. Curated by Didier Theys, a world-class professional racecar driver himself, the routes include France, Germany, Scotland and the UAE.
Waldorf Astoria’s supercar experience
The Waldorf Astoria is giving its guests a fast-and-furious treat from now until 20th December 2015.
During which they will be able to experience and sample three of the world’s top supercars. This adrenaline-filled experience will have guests take to the most exciting roads of Europe and the United Arab Emirates in a Ferrari 458 Italia Spider (‘the technological tour de force’), the McLaren MP4-12C and the Porsche 911 GT3.
For those who have little experience driving such vehicles, Astoria has experienced drivers who will be on hand to provide a friendly coaching session and offer any relevant advice. The best part? Supercar aficionados will be excited to know that each of the selected driving experiences at Astoria’s properties will feature its own racing legend whom they can spend time with: Europe will see Vanina Ickx and the UAE will see Eric Van De Poele, most likely leading the route, as guests follow while keeping abreast of the goings-on via walkie-talkie.
The first session runs from approximately 8:30 to 11:00 in the morning, the second from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and the final session from approximately 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Visit the Waldorf Astoria website to book an unforgettable driving experience.
