The Sybarite went along to the SS19 showcase during London Fashion Week to take a look at the up-and-coming talent on show.
International designers showcased their latest designs at Fashions Finest SS19 during the weekend at De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in Holborn, London. Starting off with Nepalese brand Gauhar which focused on oversized male garments in exotic, colourful textiles, it proved to be an eclectic, inclusive and colourful mix of styles on the runway on Saturday.
Next up was Misora Nakamori, showcasing an interesting white, black and metallic futuristic womenswear collection. Nakamori, who is a recent Masters graduate in womenswear at the Royal College of Art in London, describes her style as "combining decent traditional techniques and details with some accents of odd shapes or materials to suggest unique yet futuristic ideas." One of Nakamori's previous collections, Misora, was centred on the notion that "we are recording every day, every moment and every event in life paths, all of which build [our] current selves."
