Aqua Restaurant Group’s Dim Sum Library has opened its first international site in the heart of London’s Covent Garden. Designed as an all-day dining destination, the new opening is primed for quick lunches, afternoon teas, pre-theatre dinners, and everything in between. Classic Cantonese dishes include wagyu beef puff with black pepper, black garlic siu mai (pork & shrimp dumpling), and dan dan xiao long bao (soup dumpling).
Rejoice! Honest Greens is set to open its first UK site in Soho, London, on 12 December. Born in Barcelona, the healthy eating restaurant group serves up high-quality, nutritious food with minimally processed ingredients and no additives. Expect hearty breakfast bowls, heaped toasts, artisanal coffees, and house-made flavoured waters.
Calling all matcha lovers... From 1 December to 31 December, Boxcar Bread and Wine is embarking on a festive collaboration with premium matcha brand, Koma. Keep the cold at bay and indulge in seasonal brunch goodies alongside inspired matcha blends including the KOMA Yuki (matcha, white chocolate and nutmeg), and the Match Dream - a whimsical concoction featuring jasmine tea infusion, rose water and lemon.
French patisserie stalwart Ladurée has opened its newest boutique on Mayfair’s South Molton Street. A sanctuary of Parisian chic, the pistachio-green store boasts the maison’s signature interiors as well as the usual smorgasbord of sweet and savoury treats. Expect kaleidoscopic macarons, freshly baked viennoiseries, and speciality coffees. Magnifique!
Luxury fashion house Brunello Cucinelli has launched a trio of fragrances created with master perfumers Alberto Morillas and Jordi Fernández. Available exclusively at Harrods, these new scents explore an array of fragrance families. The segreto boasts zesty accords of Sicilian yellow mandarin and orange blossom, the Silenzio is teeming with notes of cinnamon and salted caramel while the Ricordo combines coriander seeds with jasmine sambac absolute, coconut, and patchouli.
The original Hard Rock Cafe London on Old Park Lane has unveiled its latest offering - an immersive cocktail experience fusing together mixology and music history. The experience, which takes place on Friday and Saturday evenings, takes guests on a two-hour tasting journey inspired by different music eras. Interactive elements include building your own garnishes and buzzy DJ sets.
Bread Ahead are gearing up to launch their new flagship bakery in the heart of Leicester Square on 11 December. Touted as the ultimate dining destination, the central site will offer sourdough pizza and freshly torched Crème Brûlée doughnuts until 10pm to satisfy those late-night cravings. Seasonal specials will also be available throughout the year.

The celeriac soup was a personal favourite: simple, nourishing, and full of depth. Elsewhere, the lentils with sausage delivered rich, slow-cooked flavours. The lentils were beautifully soft and earthy while the sausage offered a robust edge.
If you're hankering after something sweet at the end of your meal, the desserts and pastries are an absolute must. Think warm apple crumble, perfectly balanced lemon tarts, and moreish crème brûlées. Each sweet treat felt nostalgic yet refined, offering the perfect ending to a meal.
What truly elevates the experience, nonetheless, is hearing Aurélia speak about the restaurant herself. Her passion, warmth, and genuine love for the craft are palpable, making it clear just how much heart goes into every dish.
7 Wonders of the World: An Immersive Experience has made its way to London this December. Created by Exhibition Hub and Fever, the 70-minute experience takes visitors on a unique VR and projection journey, bringing the likes of the Great Pyramid of Giza and the Hanging Gardens of Babylon into sharp relief. Spread across three floors, this novel exhibition brings together history, cutting-edge technology and artistry.
On 11 December, Mayfair’s Berkeley Street will gain a new three-story Turkish dining destination. The creation of Serdar Demir, Chargal will spotlight modern Turkish cuisine with a fire-led approach. The ground-floor Dining Room will serve up refined classics, while the first-floor Mezze Bar will offer smaller, vibrant dishes. Elsewhere, the Lounge will whip up innovative cocktails and moreish sharing plates.
After first hitting the shelves in October 2024, MERIT have reintroduced their best-selling Retrospect Eau de Parfum in a new larger size. Created in collaboration with French perfumer Fanny Bal, the fan-favourite spritz boasts a warm, skin-like quality with notes of pear, bergamot oil, rosemary oil, jasmine absolute, musk, vanilla, and moss.
Malaysian hotspot Roti King will be opening its first Scottish site in Edinburgh on 12 December. Beloved by Londoners, Roti King is renowned for its legendary hand-pulled roti and sizzling classics including Char Kway Teow and the Malaysian fried chicken served with homemade spicy sambal. The launch will also see the restaurant partner with Children First to support local families over winter, with every donation to their in-restaurant giving tree being matched with food donations.
