At the restaurant's core lies Aurélia’s cooking, which is deeply personal and inspired by her grandmother's recipes. Every dish feels comforting and familiar, yet thoughtfully prepared with intention. It's French home cooking that packs a punch – warm, flavourful, and brimming with soul. The celeriac soup was a personal favourite: simple, nourishing, and full of depth. Elsewhere, the lentils with sausage delivered rich, slow-cooked flavours. The lentils were beautifully soft and earthy while the sausage offered a robust edge.
If you're hankering after something sweet at the end of your meal, the desserts and pastries are an absolute must. Think warm apple crumble, perfectly balanced lemon tarts, and moreish crème brûlées. Each sweet treat felt nostalgic yet refined, offering the perfect ending to a meal.
