The 67th Annual Grammy Awards are just around the corner, set to light up the music world on February 2, 2025.

Known as "Music's Biggest Night," the ceremony will celebrate the very best in music, from pop and rock to hip-hop and classical, with an exciting mix of both established icons and emerging talents. Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar, Billie Eilish, and many more will be vying for top honours, but the competition is fiercer than ever. Fans can look forward to stunning live performances, emotional tributes, and star-studded moments throughout the evening. Plus, this year’s ceremony will shine a spotlight on relief efforts for those affected by the devastating Los Angeles wildfires, adding an extra layer of meaning to the event. Get ready for a night full of surprises, heart, and celebration of the music that defines us.

What are the Grammys?

The GRAMMYs, often referred to as "Music's Biggest Night," is the premier awards ceremony celebrating excellence in the music industry. Hosted by the Recording Academy, this star-studded event honours outstanding achievements across various genres, from pop and rock to classical and hip-hop. Featuring electrifying live performances, unforgettable collaborations, and a celebration of artistic innovation, the Grammys spotlight the talent shaping the global music landscape. Academy members vote to decide winners in each nomination category, who are then presented with iconic gold-plated trophies depicting gilded gramophones. 

Where are the Grammy’s held?

The Recording Academy confirmed that the Grammys will be held on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The show will begin at 8 PM EST/ 5 PM PST and will be aired on CBS, but will also be available to stream on Paramount +. In the UK, it will air between 1:00 AM and 4:30 PM on Monday, 3 February. 

Paramount+ with Showtime subscribers, as well as those with access to CBS through streaming services like Hulu+ Live TV, YouTube TV, and FuboTV, can watch the event live and on demand. Paramount+ subscribers can also stream the ceremony the following day.

Leading up to the show, stars will walk the red carpet, with coverage from various news outlets. E! News will host its E! Live From the Red Carpet segment, which will be available live on cable TV or via FuboTV. Additionally, the Associated Press will stream the three-hour red-carpet event on YouTube and APNews.com.

Star Studded Lineup 

For 2025, the Grammys are bringing back the fan-favourite tradition of multiple hosts, with a mix of music and entertainment heavyweights sharing the spotlight. Expect lively banter, heartfelt moments, and plenty of surprises as they guide us through the evening. The 67th Grammy Awards will once again welcome Emmy-winning comedian Trevor Noah as host, marking his fifth consecutive year at the helm. This year’s ceremony will also focus on raising funds to support major relief efforts in the wake of the devastating Los Angeles wildfires.

The Recording Academy announced plans to "raise additional funds to support wildfire relief efforts and honour the bravery and dedication of first responders who risk their lives to protect others," according to a recent statement by CEO Harvey Mason Jr. and Board of Trustees Chair Tammy Hurt.

Epic Performances 

The Grammys are synonymous with jaw-dropping live performances, and 2025 will be no different. The confirmed lineup already includes some of the biggest names in the business, spanning genres from pop to hip-hop and country to alternative. 

The Recording Academy confirmed an exciting line-up with the likes of pop sensations Billie Eilish, Shakira, Charli XCX, “Good Luck, Babe!” singer Chappell Roan, “Denial is a River” rapper Doechii, English singer and songwriter Raye, “Espresso” star Sabrina Carpenter, and rapper Post Malone performing. 

A particular buzz surrounds a rumoured medley performance celebrating the 50th anniversary of hip-hop following the incredible success of last year’s celebration.

Tributes and Lifetime Achievements

One of the most emotional parts of any Grammy ceremony is its tributes, and this year will honour several late legends who made an indelible impact on music. Additionally, the Lifetime Achievement Award recipients will celebrate artists whose contributions have shaped the industry with heartfelt retrospectives and star-studded performances honouring their legacy. Recipients include Prince, Frankie Beverly, Roxanne Shante, The Clash, Dr. Bobby Jones, Taj Mahal, And Frankie Valli. 

A Battle of the Titans 

This year’s Grammy nominations are gearing up for an epic battle between some of music’s biggest names. The Album of the Year category is especially exciting, with a mix of music legends and rising stars all hoping to take home the top prize. Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar, and Olivia Rodrigo are all in the running, but they’ll have some tough competition from new artists who are quickly making their mark on the industry.

Beyoncé is leading the pack with 11 nominations, including one for Album of the Year with Cowboy Carter, her country-inspired project. With these nominations, she’s now racked up an astonishing 99 Grammy nods in total, making her the most-nominated artist of all time.

The Song of the Year and Record of the Year categories are shaping up to be equally heated, with a mix of viral hits, emotional ballads, and innovative production all in the mix. This year, it’s clear that both seasoned veterans and fresh faces are ready to leave their mark on the Grammy stage.
