Everything You Need to Know About Vogue World Milano
Vogue World Milano is a major multi-genre fashion, performance, and cultural celebration produced by Vogue magazine and Vogue Italia, with Francesca Ragazzi, vogue Italia's head of editorial content, closely tied to its framing. Vogue World travelled through New York, London, Paris, and Los Angeles before Milan, and Vogue World journeyed from its 2022 New York debut as a street fair intended to energise New York Fashion Week to later editions including Vogue World: Paris, which paid tribute to the city through a fashion-and-sport format, before arriving in the glass-topped arcade of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in the centre of Milan for the opening of Milan Fashion Week.
The large-scale performance is structured around a series of choreographed thematic acts built on a continuous dialogue between Renaissance period techniques, industrial wool, screen based imagery, artificial intelligence, and the human touch. Framed by the idea “Where The Future Is Made By Hand,” the show uses that exchange to preserve heritage while showcasing creations from prominent Italian fashion houses and master artisans. Juan Costa Paz is the creative director, Lady Amanda Harlech leads fashion direction, Judith Clark serves as curator, and Marco Balich is the executive producer, with Balich Wonder Studio overseeing production direction and overall production direction.
Milano's charitable component also matters: Vogue World has raised several million dollars since 2022—amounting to several million dollars and, in reporting around the franchise, even described in million dollars terms—and the Milan edition will support the Quarto Oggiaro Library with at least €2 million so it can become a cultural hub for creativity and community, while funds also support cultural and social initiatives that support cultural projects benefiting the public good.
