Review of Fish Market - A Taste of the British Seaside

Fish Market which is located in the Old Bengal Warehouse, just minutes from Liverpool Street Station, is one of those places. This relaxed venue which is part of the highly acclaimed D & D restaurant group offers an all day dining menu and in summer months there is a terrace at the front of the building for al fresco dining.

Featuring Shaken, Not Stirred; make your own 007 Vesper Martini

And of course, ‘shaken, not stirred’. With the release of the latest Bond film, ‘No Time To Die’ and Daniel Craig’s last role as 007, we thought there would be no better time to test the best gins to make the ultimate martini.

Review of The Athenaeum

Overall the basis for choosing to stay at The Athenaeum in our opinion is location, five-star quality with a residential and contemporary vibe, comfort and convenience. It is conveniently located and close to restaurants such as HIDE with The Ritz in close proximity. The loveliest part about its location is that it is directly parallel to Green Park with rooms overlooking it too. So although you are in the city, the option to have a morning run or a light evening stroll nearby is something to take advantage of when choosing to stay at The Athenaeum.

Review of A Summer Afternoon at LOrangerie, Airelles Gordes, La...

Lunch served on white table cloths, with majestic cyprus and olive trees blowing in the wind and crisp French rosé flowing all afternoon. A beautifully restored 18th century stately home as the setting of one of the most unique hidden gems that the Luberon has to offer. This is La Bastide de Gordes, part of the Airelles collection.

Review of The Sybarite (Unofficial) End of Summer Rosé Review

And synonymous with long summer balmy evenings is, of course, rosé. With summer water gaining enormous popularity in recent years, and different experts of thoughts pulling consumers in opposing directions (is ‘the lighter the rosé, the better’ really true?), we felt it was our responsibility to put some of the more popular rosés to the test.
