How are you? What impact has covid had in both your personal and professional life? A break like this is really uncomfortable and it stirs a lot of unrest in a society which is not used to not stopping for a second. I think it has affected all of us in one way or another, and it has taught us to put our lives in perspective. From the little day to day things, to the bigger picture of redirecting our focus and energy, to what we want to make of each day. And in the long term, it has helped us think - where are we going? What is our true purpose? What are the things that make us feel good? And on a larger scale, we have the chance to reflect on how our society works, the world we have created, how it has reacted to such a situation and how solutions are implemented and the long term traces that all this will leave... In my opinion, all discomfort and pain will leave its mark, but it can also bring very beneficial and necessary structural changes if we are brave enough.
Chopard’s Latest Unique Piece Perfect to Celebrate...
February 12th 2021 marks the beginning of the Year of the Ox. An Earth sign, emblem of the twelfth lunar month, the ox represents a period conducive to both nature and agriculture. This generous animal ensures prosperity and is a symbol of strength of the coming year. To honor the occasion, each year since 2013, Chopard has created exceptional L.U.C Haute Horlogerie timepieces, with an artistic interpretation of the Chinese Zodiac. Faithful to the tradition, Chopard has consistently worked with the best Japanese lacquer artisans who craft dials using the historic Urushi lacquer technique. The result is an exquisite edition of 88 dials produced by the workshops of the century-old Yamada Heiando company and made by master lacquer artist Minori Koizumi. The unique craftsmanship of Maki-e technique is used and captured between the layers of lacquer drawn from the sap of the Toxicodendron vernicifluum tree, gold flakes illuminate a background that features a golden ox with straight horns and an abundant coat, harnessed to a wagon.

Frugi Organic Clothing - it’s the way forward!
Since discovering the brand it has been a solid staple in the wardrobe of both my little angels. In 2008 the company changed its name to Frugi, meaning ‘Fruits of the Earth’ in Latin, it was at this point that the collection grew to also include gorgeous clothing for older children and breastfeeding wear for mums. The clothing is all organic, pure, soft and snuggly. It is kind to babies and young children’s delicate skin and there are no harmful chemicals or dangerous dyes. Plus organic cotton is durable and long-lasting meaning you can hand it down for generations. Also all of Frugi’s outerwear, backpacks, lunch bags, pencil cases and coin purses have been made from post-consumer recycled materials - using all of those plastic drink bottles that are thrown away in household waste. Frugi take great pride in the relationships they have developed with the companies and people who supply their goods. They regularly visit their suppliers to make sure that everything is in ship shape and working to the Frugi code of conduct.
Windle & Moodie | Three Decades of Hair Excellence
It’s not hard to see why the salon boasts such a long-standing success—this duo have styled for the likes of Vogue, Elle and Hugo Boss to name a few, and their loyal celebrity regulars include names like Cara Delevingne. The style of the salon has never dated and even with it’s sleek modern industrial interior has an incredibly friendly and welcoming atmosphere which washes over you as soon as you walk in. I was seen almost immediately by my colourist who seemed to know exactly what I wanted without me even having to explain and I was left with a strong sense of reassurance as I waited for her to mix up my colour. After a relaxing 20 minutes underneath the heat lamp I was taken downstairs to a room which resembled a spa more than a hair salon. The lighting was dim and my hair was washed and head massaged expertly as I relaxed in one of the reclining chairs. I believe I may of actually fallen asleep as the hair mask was left in to work it’s magic. Windle & Moodie use all their own in-house products inspired by tea or volcanic ash, after being introduced to the world of French pharmacy hair care.
Celebrating India Pop-up - Pippa Small Interview
When did you know you wanted to start a jewellery line based on ethical consumption? The two go hand in hand; I come from a background in anthropology and have a masters in medical anthropology and human rights. I suppose I’ve been stringing things and beads my wrists for years, an almost-jewellery designer from a young age. When I started working in Borneo, I started working with NGO’s with human rights. To come from a more human rights background really informs our brand ethos, we work very ethically and want to be assured that we have very transparent working relationships and to help people, from working with artisans from conflict areas from Afghanistan to help people who have been forced out of their home and to help them. What I think is really important is to help people live a more sustainable life and to feel proud of what they are creating and to help.
My London Fashion Week - VanillaOnTop
"A week full of inspiration and breathtaking designs; bloggers, press, designers ,as well as clients from all over the world, come to see the new Autumn/Winter 2019 collections at the two London Fashion Weeks held each year. Me and my sister Tiia Camilla Pötry, also known as my manager, had the honour to attend several fashion shows and presentations including the Junne, Kalissi, and Magpies & Peacocks shows. Magpies & Peacocks showed their new collection created from upcycled textiles. It was truly inspiring and interesting to see the perfect hand prints featured in every design. Kalissi took us into a different world; such a colourful and surreal show! It was high fashion with a brave twist and powerful statements. Many pastel shades, as well as different textures like tweed and silk, were surrounding us the entire evening. One of many astounding elements was the exceptional colourful headpieces worn on the catwalk. Hats and turbans made from silk or fur were crucial elements this year in many of the shows.
